Galdor Burrowers Spotted At Meyers' Farm!

Well, the rain has wet the property so much that my "outside duties" have been curtailed for a few days, and the missus is busy with the 1st of her family arrivals that I have managed to get my three new Burrowers painted.

They are still orphans and don't have a name yet. But they will be duly adopted by...in the future.

The story begins: One fine warm sunny mid-morning, while strolling through the woods looking for Chizard and its chicks to play with, Bobby and Betty Walker, 1st Squadron's Commander, and Buddy the mutt came upon a startling sight. Yep, that's right, they came face-to-face with three ground-hugging short-haired pug-faced creeping crawlers.

Bobby:          "Wow...Capt....look at them...cute lil' things there!"
Capt. Runt:   "Don't remember seeing nothing like these critters around here before, Bobby."
Betty:            "Can I have one...please!"
Buddy:         "Woof wuf wuf woof...grrrrr!"
Bobby:         "Uh...better wait 'til we ask Gramma, Sis."
Capt. Runt:  " No what? These things look like a beaver without a paddle and it's missing its two front teeth..."
Bobby:         "..and it's got claws for feet! Well what do you know about that!?"
Capt. Runt:  "Let me see if I can make friends with these guys."
Burrowers:  "Freep freep reep peep."

To be continued...

    1. Hi, Anne: Adorable like my cat, I'd say. But don't give the critter a reason to defend itself.

Enjoy the season! Thank you, and a Merry Christmas to you and yours!
